Authorities here have seized more than ₱300,000 worth of sea corals, locally known as gasang, from a local trader in Sitio Kolo, Barangay Punta Engaño, in this city. Inspector Jacinto Mandal Jr. of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office said Inocencio Mahusay, 63, has been arrested for possessing and selling corals, a violation of Republic Act 8550, or the Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998.
