    NGCP joins big coastal clean-up

    The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) enjoined the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in celebrating the National Clean-up Month by conducting a coastal clean-up drive along the shorelines of San Fernando, La Union recently. NGCP North Luzon Public Affairs Officer Lilibeth P. Gaydowen said yesterday that employees from NGCP's North Luzon Regional Office and District 1 together with volunteers of Barangay San Agustin, San Fernando, La Union and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) participated in the clean-up drive by picking up garbage and waste along the coastline last September 14.
