A big number of fishermen, particularly those affected by typhoon "Sendong" in Iligan City, Misamis Oriental, and this city received several marine equipment as assistance from the government yesterday. Official of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) turned over 50 units of marine engines to fishermen led by their respective local government unit officials in Iligan, and other municipalities of Misamis Oriental. The BFAR officials led by Director Asis G. Perez also turned over 16 units of marine engines to affected fishermen in this city.
