The provincial government of Tawi-Tawi yesterday expressed readiness to host the 11th Seaweed Festival this year, showcasing the abundant supply of the high-grade seaweed variety produced in the province. Tawi-Tawi Governor Sadikul Sahali said the Seaweed Festival is held yearly, primarily to promote the product. Sahali said the Seaweed Festival is one of the highlights of the 38th founding anniversary of the province that is scheduled to start on September 23.
