    Excerpt
Elements of the Baras Municipal Police in this province have been lauded by local fisherfolk for its intensified campaign to protect marine resources from abuse. This as police rounded up 12 people allegedly engaged in illegal fishing along the coastline of this town Baras last October 10. The arrested 12 were residents of Barangays JM Alberto, Agban and Genitligan, and caught in the act using air compressors as means of catching fish.
