In observance of Proclamation No. 176 declaring the third week of October of every year as Fish Conservation week, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR 6) spearheads the celebration of the Fish Conservation Week from October 15-21 with the theme, "Masaganang Pangisdaan, Matatag na Kinabukasan.".
