    Excerpt
The Agri-Kapihan in Candelaria, Quezon, last Wednesday went beyond the 12 o’clock cut-off time because the attendees had more questions than could be answered during the allotted time. Dr. Ma. Antonia “Yayan” Mercado of Bulacan and her consultant (Jojo Baldia) were also at the Afri-Kapihan. They talked about the availability of native hito fingerlings which they are now producing in Angat, Bulacan. Mercado says that they are using the technology developed by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center and can now produce native hito fingerlings by the millions.
