An ecology park built by a government-hosted Southeast Asian center here for the environment education of the people is now open to the general public. Formally called "Fish World, " the aquaculture and fisheries facility was built by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center - Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) in this seaside town 24 kilometers west of Iloilo City. "Fish World" was inaugurated during the celebration of SEAFDEC-AQD's 27th anniversary last July 6-7.
