From "mismanagement" to irregularities." Relentless in their efforts to oust Dr. Rolando Platon, chief of Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department, the Concerned Scientists and Employees of Seafdec/AQD (Csesa) held another protest action in front of Museo Iloilo yesterday afternoon to accuse Platon of committing "irregularities." This came as the Research and Development Advisory Committee (Rdac) created by the Department of Agriculture is set to hold its final meeting shortly and implement the recommendations on the changes to be made in the department's thrusts and priorities. About 50 scientists and other research staff, led by Dr. Joebert Toldeo and union president Alex Babol brought their protest to Iloilo City after holding a picket at the Seafdec/AQD compound at Tigbauan yesterday morning.
