    Excerpt
Three former high-ranking officials of Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) were honored for their efforts before, during, and after the 6-month Boracay Island rehabilitation. Police Major General Cesar Hawthorne Binag, retired Brig. Gen. John Bulalacao, and Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay, Jr. received Special Individual Awards “for their noble contribution in the six-month rehabilitation program of country’s crown jewel Boracay and ensuring security and peace and order as a safe tourist destination in the world.” Binag and Bulalacao were former PRO-6 regional directors while Cambay, then PRO-6 deputy regional director for administration, was the commander of Metro Boracay Police Task Force (MBPTF).
