Cotabato City – The Department of Agriculture (DA) will be tapping Badjaos, the country’s sea gypsies, as auxiliaries in the “Bantay Laut” program. DA Secretary Manny Piñol said his department has already identified some Davao region-based Badjaos as part of the first batch of sea gypsies who will be tasked with monitoring and protecting coastlines.
