According to Lumba Project, a website about the critically endangered Irrawaddy dolphins found in Bago and Pulupandan areas in the province, the dolphin was found around 5:30 a.m. and was reported by village residents Edith Bemirable and Joseph Agusijo to barangay officials. Municipal Administrator Federico Infante Jr. informed the Lumba project about it to check the dolphin.en
