Boracay will only be destroyed if the entire island is converted into commercial area, President Duterte warned Thursday. Speaking at the inauguration of a new power plant in Pagbilao, Quezon, the President said commercial activity must be limited in Boracay, as he moved to declare the island as a land reform area. He suggested that Congress allot a 500-meter strip of the island for commercial purposes.
