    The Water quality parts of coastal waters in Lapu- Lapu City and Cordova Town which have been affected by the oil spill from sunken ship M/V Thomas Aquinas has significantly improved, authorities said. To recall, water said areas were badly affected by the oil spill from said ship owned by the 2Go Group which sunk after it was rammed last August 16 by Sulpicio Express Siete, a cargo vessel owned by Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp. (formerly Sulpicio Lines, Inc.) in Lawis Ledge, off Talisay, Cebu.
