Officials of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) shifted their ghost-busting operation from spurious teachers and schools to ARMM farmers' cooperatives suspected of infiltration by inactive or inefficient elements. The two ARMM agencies - the department of agriculture and fisheries and the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) - have adopted a validation aimed at ridding more than a thousand fisherfolk groups of bad eggs, according to CDA regional administrator Abdulrashid Ladayo Sr. "we will be conducting regular validation of cooperatives in the region.
