    Cavite SP sets oil spill probe

    The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) or Provincial Board will conduct an inquiry, in aid of legislation, on the oil spill which adversely affected the waters off the towns of Rosario, Tanza, Naic, Ternate, as well as a remote fishing villages in Maragondon and Cavite City. The inquiry has been set on the regular session on Monday, August 19, the office of Cavite 7th District Board Member (BM) Irene D. P. Bencito confirmed yesterday. It was Bencito who moved for the spill inquiry with Vice Governor and SP Presiding Officer Ramon Jolo Revilla III and the board members approving it.
