The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Central Visayas is calling for volunteers for the International Coastal Clean Up in Pooc, Talisay City, on Saturday. The third Saturday of September has been designated as International Coastal Clean Up day in the Philippines. CENRO-Cebu City Supervising Ecosystem Management Specialist, Felimon Alex Selor said it is a global event that has been observed since 1986.
