The Puerto Princesa City government, the government-hosted, Tigbauan, Iloilo-based Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) and the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) have joined hands in verifying broodstock (breeders) management and hatchery techniques for groupers (lapu-lapu) and other important fishes to boost aquaculture development in Palawan.
