Realizing the urgent need to package technologies generated through the years of research and development, the Technology Verification and Extension was launched in 1996. It is a technology transfer and commercialization program to test the technologies in actual production systems. In addition, technologies for marginal fishermen are developed for livelihood and in the process help contribute towards increasing food supply. Verification runs are conducted at the Igang Substation, Dumangas Brackishwater Station and Tigbauan Main Station and in private farms through various LGUs and cooperatives.
