A senior scientist from the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center's aquaculture department was recently choses as president of the Philippine Association of Marine Science (PAMS). Dr. Jurgenne Honculada-Primavera was elected to the top post in the 5th national symposium on marine science at the UP Marine Science Institute. Primavera was recognize for her work on shrimp culture and mangroves.
