The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Region III, led by Mr. Wilfredo M. Cruz, Agricultural Center Chief, conducted recently a five-day fish cage construction and tilapia culture training for soldiers. Some 30 enlisted personnel from post and line units of 7th Infantry Division (7ID), Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Army Signal Regiment (ASR) at Pahingadan Dam in Fort Magsaysay, took part in the activity. Participants in the training were mostly retiring who served the government for more than 20 years in order for them to have an extra income or livelihood when they are out of the military service.
