The anti-illegal fishing drive is being stepped up to protect and preserve the fish sanctuary and corals in the province of Surigao del Norte. The city government here led by Mayor Ernesto T. Matugas has strengthened its city ordinance in protecting the fish sanctuary along the Surigao Bay where mangrove plantations are located.
