The Philippine Navy (PN) welcomes the release to the public of the US Navy (USN) report on the results of its investigation into the January 17 grounding of the minesweeper USS Guardian on Tubbataha Reef. "The release of the report is a welcome development," said PN spokesman, Lt. Cdr. Gregory Fabic. " The Philippine Navy appreciates all the efforts of the US Navy and the US government during the extraction of the USS Guardian and for releasing the report to the public," said Fabic.
