    Excerpt
Shrimp growers and technicians from Myanmar's Department of Fisheries (DOF) said the shrimp technology of Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (Seafdec/AQD) that they are slowly adopting is simple, practical and safe. The foreigners have attended a training course in shrimp culture at Seafdec Dumangasm Iloilo Brackishwater Station and recommended in Myanmar what they have learned. More than a hundred shrimp technicians of 16 sponsoring companies attended the six-month training course held at the DOF Training center in Yangon, capital of Myanmar.
