The recent ISDA Fisheries Information Caravan that covered seven regions of the country has strengthened the working partnership of a government-hosted Southeastern Asian center here and two government fisheries agencies. The caravan was a month-long, cross-country technology transfer of the latest breakthroughs in fish breeding, production, and food processing of seaweeds and other aquatic products. It was undertaken by the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR), Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), and Department of Science and Technology Philippine Council for Aquatic and Marine Research and Development (DOST-PCAMRD).
