    Excerpt
A mariculture park has been opened in Igang Bay off this seaside town. Said to be the first of its kind in the Philippines and perhaps in Southeast Aisa, the mariculture park is a joint project of the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD), the provincial government of Guimaras, and the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR).
