All is set for the launching of a mariculture park in Igang Bay off this seaside town. The first of its kind in the Philippines, the mariculture park is a joint project of the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), the Guimaras provincial government, and the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR). It will be inaugurated on July 5 as one of the main highlights of the celebration of SEAFDEC Aqd'S 28th anniversary which will be from tomorrow until Friday.
