    Japan, SEAFDEC to promote sustainable aquaculture

    The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) based in Tigbauan, Iloilo can’t thank Japan enough for continuously supporting the department’s mission to promote sustainable aquaculture. “Thank you Dr. Koh-ichiro Mori, Japan has always been supportive of SEAFDEC’s mission especially on the financial aspect,” said SEAFDEC/AQD Chief Baliao in his opening remarks during the International Workshop On the Promotion of Sustainable Aquaculture, Aquatic Animal Health and Resource Enhancement in Southeast Asia (SARSEA). SARSEA was held at the Richmonde Hotel in Iloilo City on June 25 to 27 2019.
