The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is giving away a total of P114 million worth of fingerlings to thousands of fishermen in Central Luzon adversely affected by recent typhoon "Lando." "We will be providing around 39.19 million pieces of tilapia, 14.17 million pieces of saline tilapia, 4.29 million pieces of bangus, and 76.85 million pieces of vannamei/monodon fingerlings to 5,208.54 hectares of affected fishponds in 48 municipalities, "said BFAR Regional Director Wilfredo Cruz.
