The local government, along with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), distributed at least 18 motorized bancas and other equipment to fisher Isla Bonita Resort, here. Bancas, fishing nets and life jackets were given to various fisher groups from this municipality as livelihood assistance.
