An environment education center here continues to draw visitors from all walks of life, including tourists. "FishWorld" was opened to the public on January 29 last year by the government-hosted Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD) based in this seaside town situated 24 kilometers west of Iloilo City. In its maiden year, the aquarium-museum-ecology park drew 98 groups composed of 9,465 individuals from 47 elementary schools, 31 high schools and colleges, and 20 others.
