A fisherman in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras turned over a sea turtle to the Igang Marine Station (IMS) of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD). Felix Magon, a resident of Brgy. Pandaraonan in Nueva Valencia, said the turtle was trapped in his fish cage. He turned over the sea turtle in the morning of May 18, 2019 to the staff of IMS for checking and cleaning. Eva Aldon, SEAFDEC/AQD Media Consultant, said the sea turtle will undergo assessment.
