    Excerpt
Ahead of the planned rehabilitation of the Manila Bay, the Department of Finance (DOF) assured that its headquarters (HQ) on Roxas Boulevard has its own sewage treatment facility (STF) that passed the waste classification standards. According to the DOF, the ongoing refurbishment of the six-story building in Manila has “a state-of-the-art” sewage treatment facility, which discharges effluent into the Manila Bay that is classified as “Class C.” The DOF said that the “Class C” classification means that the building’s waste discharges are fit for fishing and the propagation and growth of fish as well as other aquatic resources.
