A total of 4,370 pawikan eggs found in the Cleanergy Park and 3,482 hatchlings have been rescued and released to the shores by the Pawikan (marine turtle) Center here. The Aboitiz Group has built up the facilities of the pawikan (marine turtle) center as part of its effort to intensify the conservation of hawksbill turtle in the Davao Gulf. This after the company signed a memorandum of agreement with the city government and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) on Wednesday morning.
