SEAFDEC/AQD chief attends NACA Governing Council gab

SEAFDEC/AQD Chief Dan D. Baliao attended the Network Aquaculture Centres in Asia Pacific (NACA) at Dong Fang Hotel in Guangzhou, PROC on March 26-28 this year to discuss the major accomplishments of member countries in 2018. Planned activities for 2019 were also the highlights of the meeting. USec Eduardo Gongona of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and Mr. Baliao as chief of SEAFDEC/AQD, one of the Regional Lead Centres in Asia, represented the Philippines in the meeting. Mr. Baliao reported the outputs from the many projects that SEAFDEC/AQD accomplished in collaboration with NACA. The collaboration between SEAFDEC/AQD and NACA started in 1980.
