| local.seafdecaqd.extract | The National Museums of the Philippines (NMP) yesterday requested the Bunawan local government of Agusan del Sur to bring the skin and skull of crocodile 'Lolong' to Metro Manila for preservation through taxidermy. Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau (PAWB) Director Dr. Theresa Mundita Lim said a request letter has been sent by the NMP to Buwanan Mayor Edwin Elorde to ask them to bring the skin and skull of 'Lolong' to NMP. "The National Museum has proposed to conduct the process of taxidermy here because we have more efficient tools to mold the skin. We are still waiting response from the proposal," Lim said. | en |
