    A group of fishermen here is urging local officials to strictly implement laws governing fishing activities within the municipal waters. Pepito Lagman, a fishermen and resident of Barangay San Roque here, said that illegal fishing increasingly undermines the lives and livelihood of the many residents wholly dependent on fishing. Likewise, Lagman said that illegal fishing creates big impact on the environment that threatens more devastation.
