A total of 107 mayors and baran­gay chairmen will soon be issued show-cause orders for their supposed involvement in the massive pollution of Manila Bay. Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Martin Diño vowed to administer the stiffest possible sanction against those officials found to have been remiss in their duties. Diño said the 107 show cause order will be a prelude to the charges the DILG will file before the Office of the Ombudsman.
