    Excerpt
The fisheries bureau in Region 2 and the Agriculture credit policy Council have completed the information campaign relative to loan programs being offered by the latter for the fisheries sector. In the Isabela leg last week, ACPC staff Adonis Fajardo and Nelson Corla elaborated on the various loan programs, namely PLEA, SURE, CLEA, and AFME. PLEA or Production Loan Easy Areas is a loan Program intended to finance agri-fishery production and farm equipment or work animal acquisition. Maximum loanable amount for individual borrower is P50,000 for short term crops, and P15,000 for high-value or long gestating crops. Loan repayment period is 2 to 10 based on cash flow.
