To uplift the living condition of fisherfolks in Surigao del Norte, the provincial government extended agri-fishery inputs, including gill nets to the members of the 18 fisherfolk associations, it was learned yesterday. The gillnets, worth a total of ₱378,203, will be used by the fisherfolks to promote sustainable and environment-friendly fishing practices.
