Local police nabbed 38 fishermen for using fine mesh nets two kilometers from the shore of Barangay 49-M- San Antonio here on Thursday in violation of the RA 8550 or the Philippine Fisheries Code. PO3 Jonathan R. Baclas, case investigator, said they were on board four boats that were seized by authorities. Also confiscated were 14 coolers filled with assorted fish and fishing equipment.
