Dr. Rolando Platon, chief of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center - Aquaculture Department (Seafdec-AQD) now fears for his life, while the brewing controversy in the international research facility appears to have moved closer to the arena of violent action. In a press conference yesterday, Platon disclose that he has received death treats thru electronic mail (e-mail). The e-mail, allegedly from a certain Ramon Tulfo<aqd_insider@yahoo.com, said, "please tell your boss that if he pushes thru with his plan to terminate/ retrench employees then he will pay dearly for this. Mag ingat sya and his cohorts. Makabalik man sya Iloilo, I will make sure hindi siya makalabas kailanman."
