Participants in the 4th International River Summit (IRS) hosted by Mandaue City will sign the Mandaue Mandamus at the closing of the summit on Saturday. The Mandaue Mandamus is a reference document signifying the signatories' commitment to clean up and sustain rivers in the world. Mandaue Vice Mayor Carlo Fortuna said that aside from adopting the Mandamus, the summit also launched the Philippine River Ecosystem Network (PREN) that aims to foster closer collaboration among stakeholders in harmonizing plans, programs and projects on river development and management.
