The Kores International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is funding the rehabilitation of three fishing ports in Estancia, Concepcion, and Carles in Iloilo worth US$8 million. Provincial Administrator Raul Banias said Seo Dongsung, senior deputy country representative of KOICA, arrived in Iloilo Apr. 26, 2016 for a technical visit and assured Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. of the approval of the fund. Banias said it took about two years to approve the project.
