The wastewater-discharging facilities of two restaurants and establishments were ordered closed by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) yesterday for releasing "pollutive wastewater" into the Manila Bay. The DENR, through the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA), issued the cease and desist orders on Aristocrat Restaurant, Gloria Maris Shark's Fin Restaurant, and The Esplanade- San Miguel By The Bay. The Esplanade - San Miguel By The Bay is a complex near Manila Bay that houses several restaurants.
