    The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) had shut down five commercial establishments found to be discharging untreated waste water into Manila Bay. Representatives from the joint task force led by the DENR and LLDA, the local government of Pasay City, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Philippine National Police Maritime Group served the cease and desist orders to four restaurants and one auto shop located at HK Sun Plaza along Macapagal Boulevard. These establishments wereZhi-Brothers Restaurant, Ocean Bay Restaurant, Da Rae Jung Korean Restaurant, Song Do Won Restaurant and BHP1 Autoworks.
