    Excerpt
After almost six months of waiting, Petron will soon start the extraction of remaining bunker fuel inside three cylinders of the vessel, Solar 1, which wrecked havoc on the environment when it split oil after it had sunk off strait of Guimaras island on August 11, 2006. The extraction, named " Solar 1 Project," will commence Feb. 28 and is expected to be completed on April 22. Meanwhile, SEAFDEC has already readied its protection facilities for fish cages in various places near the Strait of Guimaras.
