A feed Efficiency determinant through bioenergetics can be a means of identifying feeds that are most suitable for aquaculture fishing as part of the government's aim of maximizing fish production. Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) Aquaculture Department (AQD) has programs studying feed efficiency as part of its research in raising fish productivity in South East Asia.
