The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources(BFAR) of the Department of Agriculture said the agency will implement more livelihood projects for the fisheries sectors after getting seven percent increase in this year's national budget. " With a budget of close to ₱5 billion this 2014, it's definitely good news because we will be able to utilize more funds to implement livelihood programs and projects for the fisheries sector," said BFAR Director Asis Perez.
