    Excerpt
The Save Sharks Network Philippines (SSNP), which advocates sharks conservation in the country will hold the 3rd Shark Summit as part of the activities during Shark Conservation week on November 12-16. Vince Cinchez, SSNP co-convener and the Philippines of Oceans and Political Campaigner and Greenpeace Southeast Asia, said the first Shark Summit was held in Cebu in August 2014 and the second in Dumaguete City in November 2016. "We hold the Shark Summit every two years to drumbeat the importance of shark conservation, and Central Visayas is one of the regions in the country with shark diversity," Cinchez said.
